When movies like this are written, I wonder if they only get the green light if Walken agrees to participate.

Papell, you said that "Your writing is very animated, it seems that I’m watching the movie itself."I agree with you.It is very nice.

I have never seen McBain, but I'm willing to watch anything where Christopher Walken plays a starring or co-starring role. He's one of my favorite all-time actors. I'm also a big fan of action movies, providing the plot is not beyond my ability to suspend disbelief. Thanks for the recommendation!

I really liked McBain, however I'm partial to any movie Christopher Walken is starring in because he's one of those rare actors where one or two scenes is enough to carry a movie. Another classic with Christopher Walken is " Things to do in Denver when you're dead". Like McBain, it basically fell under the radar, but it's a must see!

In this movie, McBain is hired to overthrow a South American dictator. It sounds similar to one of his earlier films, Dogs of War. While both films share some similarities, McBain is a hell of a lot more fun to watch! I remember having rented this movie and having to rewind one of its part about 5 times, and still funny each time. Christopher Walken doesn't need a gun or magic bullets to take down a jet. He can simply point at it and say "bang" and the plane will explode.

I thought that I wouldn’t ever be a fan of action movies because it involves so much violence and foul words that I couldn’t bear. Turns out not all movies are like that, there are some that are so ingeniously planned and directed that violence won’t even bother you because you are focused on the plot.
