And all true! During production, when I noticed the surfing scenes were not on the schedule, I innocently inquired at a meeting, &quot;is anybody here worried that we have a movie called &quot;The Prince and the Surfer,&quot; and we don&#039;t have one, single shot of him surfing?  To which the line producer replied, &quot;We have 17 days to make a $500,000 movie look like it was made for at least a little bit more.  You wanna use your pay to hire the extra equipment, surfing double, medic, and permits it will take to shoot on a State Beach?&quot;  To which I happily replied, &quot;You&#039;re right!  Surfing sucks!  Maybe nobody will notice!&quot;  And that, my friend, is when I truly learned, there is no real glamour in show business.PS - The day after we wrapped, Sean Kellman was off to his Freshman year in Princeton.  Presumably, by now he&#039;s a got a REAL job.</description>
